Feeling Computer Illiterate
I have not been on here for years until recently.  ANd I feel so dumb.  I am trying to figure things out. Please bear with me.  I have been tying to copy a quote and cannot get my typing to appear outide the quote.  Any suggestions of what I am doing wrong?

Click on the "quote" box on the other person's comment.  When the reply post opens up click in the empty space below what they wrote and then move your mouse up slowly until you see a red bar.  There is a paragraph symbol in red on the right side of the red bar (looks like an arrow down and to the left).  Click on that and then type.  The other person's text will be in italics and have a bar to the left of it and your text will be plain below that.   I have no idea if that makes sense, but maybe if you try it you will see what I mean??

Thanks Shannon. I will give it a try.  I saw the red line but cannot get my curser to go below. Will try again. Thanks.  Maybe it is because of my vision los  and the Magnification program I sue.

When you get the red line just click on the arrow symbol all the way to the right.  It starts a new paragraph for you so it should automatically move the cursor down and you can type below.  Hope that helps.

Re: Feeling Computer Illiterate
it doesn't work on my tablet - I can pull up the red line but it won't type underneath no matter what - so maybe it does not work for you either if you have a similar device ?

I had trouble doing it, too, but it finally worked for me.  Try moving the cursor very slowly up and down a few times right underneath the person's typing.

If you can't get it to work, don't sweat it right now. It could be your program. Just go ahead and type a reply, we'll understand.
