Hi Ladies!
Thrilled to be here and can't wait to get to know all of you and for you to know me! Now, for the questionaire....
How did you find ACOT??
Desperately in search for a special paper so when I found it here I was beyond thrilled...also, to find a new group, store, and a whole possibility of new friends just thrilled me!
What technique would you like to learn?
I would love to learn to Digi scrap but the whole process is just beyond me....and, in all honesty I am kind of afraid of it! lol!
How many photos do you usually place on a layout?
Depends on the subject and whether it's a 1 page spread or two. I generally do not use more than 3 on one page although exceptions are frequently made...I generally do 1 page layouts.
Are you into digital or paper layouts?
Paper but am going to venture out and tackle digi layouts...with a lot of help from understanding friends!
What page/theme are you working on right now (or did you complete most recently)? Doing a wedding album for a lady I met at church...so important as it gives me a whole new network to market too~
Do you have your own scrap room?
Yes...couldn't imagine not having my own space...if for no other reason than the sheer number of supplies! I am in the slow process of moving it...I had it in the small bedroom but will soon move it into the largest room...the light is better...more square feet and many more possibilities than the smaller room...I am so excited!
Have you ever been to a crop, either online or in real life?
Yes!! Love them!
What gives you the creeps?
Lady Ga-Ga! lololol!
Are you a night-owl or an early-bird?
I get up about midnight and go to bed any time after 5 pm. I know...so weird huh?! I am disabled after 3 back surgeries and deal with a lot of pain...well, about midnight I have laid in bed about all I can stand it..the pain gets horendous.
What is your favorite "It's 5 o'clock somewhere" beverage?
Well....since I live in Kentucky...Iced Tea..."the house wine of the south!"
I currently live in a small college community in Western Kentucky...our last scrapbooking store closed aprox. a year ago and I am still suffering withdrawal. Not only do I miss the convenience of local shopping...I miss the crops and my "crop buddies." We try to meet a couple times a month at the Chamber of Commerce but, it's not the same!
I have been disabled since 1991 and finding scrapbooking was a lifesaver for me...it's been about 8 years ago and love it more each day...I can get so lost in a page that before I know it several hours have passed. My worse trait is that I am so anal about my pages that have been known to waste supplies by starting all over again.
My favorite manufacture at the moment is Melissa Frances...and my favorite technique is to alter anything that stands still for over 3 minutes! lol!
I look forward to getting to know each of you and learning all you have to teach me!
Hugs!
