When I see my forum screen, I have a small list on the right of 'recent topics' and the full message board on the left. How do I know which topics are newly updated? I want to have it figured out before the crop starts! Thanks!!!

On the recent topics list on the right... see those little orange and black squares next to some topics? If you click on that square it will take you to the last message posted in that thread. When you click recent topics again it updates what you haven't yet seen. Hope that helps some!

Yes, they are. When you click recent topics they may not be stickied to the top of THAT list but within their actual forum they *are* at the top.
