Hello and welcome! Can't wait to see some of your PL spreads in the gallery! I decided to try some pocket scrapbooking with my 2014 photos. I've only done a few  spreads and then kinda quit...so some new inspiration would be great! I saw you asked about age groups on the board...not really sure, but I'm in the "thirty-somethings" with you!

I've only heard of it in one person...a lady I used to work with named her daughter that. But for me it comes from a book...or series of books rather. It's the lead character and I find her inspiring. So....Ayla I became! lol

welcome! Sounds like you have your hands full with your own little zoo at your house!  This is an awesome place, everyone here is so nice and welcoming, and none of the drama that I've experienced with other boards/websites. 

My husband has been a volunteer firefighter since he was 14 - 20 years now with a few years off when we lived in Missouri. he's volunteer now but his dept has some paid spots too, and he's been told that when this one guy retires in December, he's next up, so the paid spot should be his! We're hoping and have fingers crossed. It is a lifelong dream of his to be a paid firefighter. I work for the state now, and he's been applying for some jobs here, tho he's not formally educated and has on certain experience, so it's been hard. If he gets a state job that he likes he'd take it, but he has his hopes set on that paid position. 

Anyways, welcome to the board! I work full time and have 2 kiddos, 5.5 (girl) and 2.5 year old boy. My girl starts Kindergarten in 6 weeks, and my boy will be starting daycare (again, he was in it last year before we moved here) when she starts Kindergarten. I scrap in my spare time, which lately hasn't been much!

Welcome Alix! I am also biscraptual. I have been playing with paper and doing some form of scrapbooking my whole life, and then in 2008 I discovered digi scrapping. Being in graphic design I immediately fell in love with it. I do both now, as I still love paper too. I have 2 doggies... a 13 1/2 year old black lab and a one year old yellow lab. They are the subject of many of my layouts. Looking forward to seeing you around on the boards. You will really love it here, everyone is so nice and extremely helpful!

Welcome to our home Alix. It is always nice to have a new member join us. Like everyone else has already said, we are truely a nice group of people, and the talent here is awesome. Also, everyone is always so helpful with everything from scrappy questions to life questions. I have been here 4 years now and will never leave  I can't wait to get to know you and see your work.
