My thoughts exactly! Geez I can't bent out of shape when someone doesn't return a book...I really don't want to write down what i would do if someone took my scrappy supplies...

If you decide to stick with the paper...I can't live with out a good paper trimmer and either my adhesive runner and my Xyron...love them.

I have a cricut..and if you are thinking about going that route...watch the black friday sales. I purchased my first one last black friday ( bought the baby bug). It really gave me the drive to get things done. However after a few months i started wishing i had bought the Expression. So i saved up birthday money and sold my baby bug to fund the purchase of the expression. If i had it to do over I would have just bought it in the first place...but i was a little hesitant to spend that much at first...but I love it. I make more cards then i do scrappy layouts...so it has been lots of fun for me.

good luck on your new scrap journey..and you will love ACOT! Everyone is so sweet and quick to help or get you pointed in the right direction if you need it.

Or if you need help tracking this woman down a few of us might help you tape her down with our tape runners... :winkb: :winkb:

Oh, Shannon! I am so naiive--can not imagine someone doing that to you. You were so kind to lend her all of your things, too...Lord help that crazy girl (and the guy if he ever married her--if she was really engaged.....)

Welcome to our family. I have only been here two months and already feel so close to many of these beautiful women. they are creative and humorous--loads of fun.

I scrapped for years and stopped. Now my GD is almost 10 and I had a GS on Oct 26. I started again in January of this year. Before you invest a lot in all the paper goods and machines, etc., (can't believe I am saying this), I encourage you to try digital scrapping with the free download on this site--if you enjoy being on the 'puter and not getting sticky fingers! I thought I'd have a hard time learning, but it wasn't too bad, and I really enjoy digi more than I do paper now. BUT I have tons of embellies and paper I bought Jan-Sept when planning my GD's albums, so I am doing both.

Anyway, good luck as you begin again. Have fun! I made books for my son and my d; they cherish them!
