Just wondering why when I send a DM to someone it sits in my outbox for hours before actually being sent.  Is there anyway to fix this so the message goes out quicker?

Thanks
:) Kelly

Re: Direct Messages
It will sit in your outbox until it's opened. At least that's what I always thought.

Re: Direct Messages
Yes, I agree with Joannie.  If it's in your outbox, that means the recipient has not opened it yet.

Re: Direct Messages
That makes sense, but I've  never experienced that before on other websites.

Thanks for the info.

The Cherries are correct!  It stays there until it's opened!  I have one in my outbox from October, 2022.  😳
OCD is not an adjective.  It is not a personality quirk. It is not synonymous with being organized.  It is a complex and debilitating mental health illness that affects people of all ages and walks of life, and is defined by the presence of unwanted, intrusive thoughts and repetitive actions. 💙 I am an OCD warrior and I fight for my son. 💙

I had one in mine for a long time too. I found that you can delete it.

Yeah, I thought about deleting it.  But, I still hold out hope that long lost board member might come back.  😌

Re: Direct Messages
I’m experiencing the same issue and don’t have a clear answer myself. It’s frustrating when messages sit in the outbox for hours before being sent. If anyone has any insights into why this happens or how to fix it, I’d be eager to know. It would be great to understand if there’s a setting or a fix to speed up the process. To cope with academic pressures, students can use academized.com/dissertation-abstract-help for writing support. They provide services such as essays and research papers, focusing on delivering plagiarism-free content and offering free revisions, making it easier to handle multiple assignments.
