So it has been a very long time since I have visited or posted anything to here, I thought it might be best to reintroduce myself. I am Julie and I love to scrap! Between new jobs, moving into a new house last year and life, I didn't make time for this website or to scrapbook. I tried when I could, but wouldn't make the time to post them here. I found a love for reading books ALL of my spare time I had. My mother (who is on here) actually helped me this month to get excited to scrap again. Last weekend was the first weekend of Spring here in Indiana and we didn't know if we were going to make it home from the crop we were at. It had snowed 10+ inches while we were cropping away. I was able to get a couple of pages done and got them uploaded today. As a wife of 25 years this month to my wonderful Husband, Andy we have 3 amazing children. Samantha is a Freshman in college studying to be an art teacher, Drew is a Junior in high school and is on the bowling team and our youngest "baby", Elizabeth turned 13 this past January is a 7th grader in middle school. Those 3 plus 2 dogs, 2 cats and 1 hamster can keep me pretty busy. I currently work at an elementary school as a secretary. I like to travel to Disney, the beach and any place that I can, with my new favorite place in Italy. I am hoping that by getting back on this website I will make some new friends who will keep me excited to scrap and challenge me to get my layouts finished and posted!!! And since my husband has given me a BIGGER space in our tiny new house for all of my scrapbooking items, I guess that means he would want me to scrap more! Looking forward to getting more pages complete in April than I did in March will be my new goal.
welcome back. Glad you found your way here again. And yes, reading can take over your life. lol Looking forward to seeing your work.

Welcome back! I remember that screen name, so I am glad you found your way home. I too took some time off, so I know how you feel. Hopefully it will all come back to you, and you will be in your happy place once again!

Welcome back!
OCD is not an adjective. It is not a personality quirk. It is not synonymous with being organized. It is a complex and debilitating mental health illness that affects people of all ages and walks of life, and is defined by the presence of unwanted, intrusive thoughts and repetitive actions. I am an OCD warrior and I fight for my son.
welcome back Julie!!
life does get the best of us! I read a lot too but I started reading one hour a day on my lunch hour. Also from April - October my husband and daughter race micro sprint cars. So, I bring our chocolate Lab Harley.
We watch the races, sit at the trailer in between and get sun, and I read then too. I also like to sit outside on warm days and read. And in between I scrap. Sometimes I may have 10 minutes or so before work so I
walk in and maybe add a little something here and there to a layout... Next thing I know, its done! Sometimes I can sit until I get one done, other times not. But the best part (in my opinion) is having everything sitting there
and not having to put it all away and get it out again!
going to the gallery to check out your work!
