Can anyone please tell me the difference between a silhouette cameo die cutting machine and a silhouette electronic cutting machine?

A silhouette cameo die cutting machine is an electronic die cutting machine that cuts out shapes using your computer. It can cut 12x12 paper. There are two other kinds of silhouette, the oldest is an SD and there is a portrait, which is just a smaller version of the cameo( it cuts 8 x12). I would imagine that silhouette electronic cutting machine is just a general way of referring to one of these other machines. I have a portrait and love it. Hope that makes sense.

There was an original silhouette - then silhouette sd which was the same as the first but had the sd card slot. They only cut up to 8 inches wide.

The cameo is the new version that can cut 12x12 and the portrait is the newer version that cuts 8 inches.

The cameo is more expensive, but has more features. I have a cameo and LOVE it.
