My favorite thing about Thanksgiving is knowing that I'm surrounded by friends and family even if we aren't in the same physical space. Friends send their long distance greetings and family calls to catch up. It's one of very few holidays this occurs. I too reach out and send lots of love and reminders that no one is alone.
