Q regarding #7: a triangle. Does it have to be just 1 (one) triangle, or can it be multiple? I have both stamps and embossing folders with patterns of triangles,

i'm (obviously lol) not Kim, so i can't say with 100 percent surety what her thinking was behind that item, but the way i took it was any triangles.  if that was not her intent, i'm sure she'll chime in and let us know.

i have stamps, dies and a punch i was planning to use.

Alrighty, I’ll wait for Kims input 😊

And hey, I also have a triangle die 😉 I’m diving into my stash as we speak.

For the dimensional tape/dots/pop dots is the purpose that it will be raised off the layout?  I know what pop dots are, but not sure about the other 2, and I'm trying to figure out how I will do this with digi.  I can create the effect of raised items, so just want to make sure that works.

Whahoo!  Third time for me.  These team challenges to use stash really help me to use stash! LOL.
my question is about substitutions.  One per project, I understand that part.  If I substitute something in one project, is it the same substitution every time.  I mean if I substitute something for one thing in a project, in next project can I substitute something for a different stash item?  🤣. This time I don’t reallysee a time when I might do this, but for future knowledge.

Yes, just to raise! For paper scrapping its little sticky dots to “pop” things off the paper. At least that’s how I understand it and use them

Question - Do we just get points for doing ACOT Challenges or can we snag a point for outside challenges?

OK; I thought I knew what I was doing here, but now I'm just confused after reading this thread! Do I need to put all 10 items on each page or is it just 1 point for each of the 10 items I do use? If I use colored pencils to color a stamped image that has numbers on it and raise it up on my layout with dimensional tape, is that 1 point or 3 points? And what is a substitution? YIKES!!

so sorry for the confusion!

first off, the stash list.  you do NOT need to use all 10 on each project.  you don't need to use any of them if you don't want to.  many of us try to use as many as possible to get the most points.  you do you  :greenwinkb:   each item is worth only 1 point, no matter how many times you use it.  if you use 5 pieces of metal, for instance, it's still just one point.  you can earn a maximum of 10 points from the stash list.

no double dipping means that coloring a stamped image with numbers and then counting it as both numbers and colored pencils is a no-no.  each item on the stash list is its own point.  you can absolutely color an image with numbers but you need to count it for colored pencils OR numbers, not both.  dimensional adhesive of any shape/kind won't cause you to double-dip regardless of what you use it on because it's just adhesive and that's its job.  hope that makes sense.  if not, please ask!

a substitution is just that--subbing one item for another.  if you don't have colored pencils, for instance, you might substitute with markers.  the only rule is that the sub must be comparable meaning markers would be fine but you can't use a doily and say you're subbing for colored pencils.  and you need to list what your substitution is if you share your project in the sharing thread.  if you have questions about whether something works as a substitute, don't hesitate to ask  😊

i hope this helps! again, please ask if there's anything you're not clear on.  this isn't meant to be stressful!
