Hello Sweet Cherries!
I am hosting a NEW ongoing challenge called, 'Who Are You?' You, you, you, you *in the tune by The Who. If you didn't sing it the first time, I'll give you a second to go back and sing it, but this time you must do a little shoulder dance as well! I know I'm a couple days late in introducing this new challenge but it is an ONGOING CHALLENGE so, save your spot and no sweat!
This challenge is to motivate you to create layouts about YOU in your albums. I will be following Kristin's (@aheatfan) Picture Yourself Challenge every month. I will take you through my creative process in hopes that you find inspiration and encouragement to keep scrapping your pretty little self! If you haven't been participating in the Picture Yourself Challenge, I highly recommend that you do! Kristin has provided heartwarming and super fun challenges thus far! Personally, I have completed none of her challenges... *hiding behind my laptop now lol Like many of you, I struggle scrapping photos of myself but as Kristin says, "...we, the scrappers are usually behind the camera and often fail to scrap ourselves -this [Picture Yourself Challenge] is a means to remedy that." I will be completing ALL previous challenges as well as the monthly one until I am all caught up. So, if you're just getting started like I am, we can do this together!
I was also inspired by @SandyJay's recent submission to the Picture Yourself Challenge in a Rewind called, Hope (it's a poetic must-read and so beautiful! Go take a look if you haven't done so already). Sandy's journaling really tugged at my heart! I decided to start a whole new project and fill a brand new album all about me. I can pass down to my girls to help them answer a question they may have about me one day, "Who are you?".
This challenge is meant to:
- Keep us accountable of scrapping photos of ourselves
- Encourage one another to scrap photos of ourselves &
- Inspire each other to scrap photos of ourselves
* combining is allowed
* surprise rewards randomly awarded to participants at random (meaning not every month)
