Hi cherries! I absolutely loved how much fun everyone had with last months “dirt” challenge so I wanted to do something similar again this month! I am going with  “Water” by Brad Paisley. This song talks about all sorts of different things with one common element - water! 

The Challenge: Create a layout that focuses on anything related to water. The beach, lake, river, fishing in a pond or stream, going for a swim, swimming lessons, water parks, rain, squirt guns, if it involves water, go for it!

An alternative is to create a monochromatic blue layout. This months bonus entry is for using “water” in your title. 

Here is the layout I created as an example. 


The Fine Print

1. New Layouts Only. Open to both paper & digital, single or double page layouts.
   
2. Limit of (3) entries per Cherry.
   
3. Can be combined with (1) other monthly challenge.
   
4. I’ll use a random number generator to select a winner for a $5 ACOT Gift Card!

Seriously! I have loved offering my journaling challenges. They challenge me too, and honestly - I learn as much from them as anyone who does the challenges does.

Brandi, I love country music and your challenge. Your Layout is amazing!! You are very talented.

Thanks so much! I’m pretty new to the mixed media world, but I knew what colors I wanted for this layout and couldn’t think of any collections or page kits in my stash that had the bright neon colors in them, so I made my own!

This one's right up my alley. Often scrapping beach photos. Great example too!!

When my oldest son was in 8th grade, they did a project where they had to do an auto-biographical scrapbook based on certain criteria.  One of the criteria was that they had to select ONE song that best described themselves.  He chose this song. "Water"  It truly was the very BEST song that could have described him.  He is the one that passed away his freshman year of college...and still i think of that little 8th grade boy who spent his entire summer in the pool, lake, beach, etc...he loved water.
