The winner this month, as chosen by random.org, is #6 - joannie!! Congratulations, and thanks to all who entered!
Struggling for ideas this month, I asked my 7-year-old daughter for suggestions about which book I should do for the challenge. She has recently begun making her way through the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series by Jeff Kinney, so that was her immediate response and I decided to go with it. The series follows Greg Heffley on his daily struggles with his siblings and to fit in at school, and is written in a diary format, with cartoon-esque drawings interspersed on every page. There are currently 12 books in the series, with number 13 scheduled for release this October.
OPTION 1: Diary of You as a Kid
For the first option, scrap a page of yourself as a kid, and be sure to include journaling!
OPTION 2: Diary of a Kid
For the second option, have a kid do the journaling for your page. It’s always fun and eye-opening to see events from a child’s perspective, so hand over the pen and let a child do your journaling for you.
This month, you'll get a BONUS ENTRY if you use the cover of the books as a sketch. Each cover has the same layout, with a large title on the top, photo underneath, and the occasional word strip and/or circular element overlaying the photo. **Please note, while you can submit more than one layout for this challenge, you can only earn one bonus for the month. Thank you!**

We have all these books for the grandkids to read. Sad that most of them aren't interested in reading actual books. I have 1 granddaughter and 1 grandson that love to read. Great challenge!
What a great challenge and a really sweet layout. My granddaughter loves these books too!
Very clever idea! Love these books...I've read them with my granddaughter.

My son read these books when he was in middle school, great challenge!

I haven't been involved here for a while, but I decided to get back into it. All of my boys' monthly pages sound the same, so I asked my youngest to do the journaling on this one. He refused to hand write it, and I do digital anyway. His words are within the circle. I hope to convince him to write on others.
I chose option 1.

My daughter did the journaling in the top corner. I did a pocket page to finish up her baptism pictures.

Here I am as a kid, on the cover of a book called 'Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Ugly Truth'!! This was harder than I thought it would be. But I like how it turned out. I picked option 1 (me as a kid) and the bonus use of the cover of one of the books.
I am running away from my responsibilities,
and it feels good!
