The winner according to Random.org is shorn!!  Your GC has already been e-sent...  Thank you all for the wonderful layouts!!

Welcome to 2018!!!  A new year is all about resolutions, right??  Well we also have Sara's 30/30 challenge in January (I am hosting Saturdays ImageImageImage)
so...  I want to make this easy for all of us....

Your challenge should you choose to accept it, is to scrap about a New Years resolution (that means journaling)  OR  work on  a project that you've been working on.

THIS DOES NOT NEED TO BE A CHRISTMAS PROJECT.  Limit 3 challenges per Cherry and you can combine with one other challenge that allows.
MUST be posted here to count.  Due 1/31 at midnight.  A $5 GC will be awarded to a random winner.

Any questions please PM me or send me an IM through Facebook.  Have fun!!!

Great challenge!  I've been trying to finish up my 2011 Disney album so along with the 30/30 challenge will be a great incentive to get it done!

Here's mine for the Holiday Challenge - Scrap a New Years Resolution. My journaling explains it. Image

Journaling says, "It's time to 'refocus' on me and get my life back in order with working out and being more active regularly. Also to concentrate on eating healthier and drinking less. I also need to work on worrying less and let those things go that I have no control over. I need to work on happier things and find joy in each day. I just need to get my life in balance so I can be a happier me.

I combined with the Patterned Paper Challenge.

I bought a Disney mega kit (9 double pages) bundle last September from Scrapbook Generation.  I had cut all the papers and put them in page protectors last fall.  My thought was I would have pictures already printed and it was just a matter of matching the kit to pictures.  Well, here it is January and I finally got one of the layouts done.

So this was for new years resolution journaling or finish a project we are working on. So this is sort of both without journaling..lol....I started this new year knowing I wanted to get this album started and finished fast by adding pocket pages too, and fits also for finishing a project, b/c I looked at this photo trying to figure out where I wanted it in my album. Did I want with the other character photos and change my theme or where. Decided to make it the First Page to kick off the Christmas Fun!
Also did for the 30/30 Day 1 to complete a fun layout!
I apologize for the craptastic quality, but I want to spend more time scrapping then scanning, so taking phone photos instead!

This LO is a page in a Birthday gift album for my Granddaughter and Great Grandson. I have been working on pages for quite awhile and need to get it done by Feb. 15th. So it is the second option, but it is also part of my New Years resolution to finish projects And to use my stash, But it does not have the journaling.
I also entered it in the Manufacturer challenge.

I don't have specific resolutions this year, since they mostly fail anyway. My scrapbooking priority, though, is to finish a Mixbook album from our trip to Alaska two years ago. This is one of the pages. I did most of it on my computer, then uploaded it and finished the text.

I chose the second option, a project I've been working on. I've been working on the South America trip since last summer and am down to the last few photos, the ones that I am finding difficult to use.
I've been having real trouble finding papers to go with them. I was at a crop yesterday and I won some modeling paste. They had a table where people put their unwanted scrapbook items, and as you know, one person's trash is another's treasure. I found this stencil and turned ordinary cardstock into something that might look Peruvian.

I don't have any plans on doing a new year's resolution  - though I may think about a word for the year.  I have been working on Universal Studios visit - especially Harry Potter and I had started an album for DS at the end of December - which I hope will be finished by April. A lot will depend on his journaling - which I am waiting on now.

Here is one for Harry Potter Gringotts - did another one yesterday that I will have to upload.

Something I promised my children I would do this year is to complete rememberance albums for each of them of their father this year.
I also combined with the rewind challenge using the Cherry Lift Challenge from December.

I went with option 1.  My new years resolution is to feel and show more appreciation for my blessings and those around me.

I completed this layout for both the 30/30 Day 26 as well as this fun holiday challenge.  My husband joined the gym with my daughter and I.

here's my 3rd one for this, finishing up the same project. this may or may not be my last page from that trip, but it uses up all my already printed photos.
