This is a Pinterest-inspired challenge, but if you don't have a Pinterest account, you can still play along using the photo prompt I'm supplying from Pinterest.
Here are the spec's:
1) Using a photo/image from Pinterest (or the one supplied below), create a new project inspired by that prompt.
2) Your project may be a scrapbook layout, card, home decor, art journal entry . . . anything crafty!
3) Traditional/digital/hybrid are all included.
4) Post your entry in this thread and share your inspirational photo (or state that you're using the prompt), and then tell me what about it inspired you.
5) Multiple entries are allowed.
6) You may combine with one other June 2015 regular Message Board challenge that also allows you to combine. Please list it here.
7) Due midnight CST on June 30, 2015.
8) Winner from list of participants will be chosen by random.org for a $5 ACOT gift card.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
Summer is here, and my mind turns to keeping my 3 kids busy and doing some crafty things myself! So, when I saw this fun dreamcatcher on Pinterest, I thought I might try to make one! Of course, my thoughts also turned to how I might use this to inspire my scrapping or cardmaking, too!
Here's my Pinterest-inspiring photo for this month (it is linked to the source):
(linked to the source)
I got my example done yesterday! My photo is a little dark, but I was inspired by the prompt to use the feathery patterned paper and to use misting, especially the colors of pink and blue. My misting didn't turn out as dark as I'd planned, but I was afraid I was getting it too heavy . . .
Good luck, everybody! Can't wait to see how this or other Pinterest prompts inspire you this month!

Here is a layout that I lifted from one I found on Pinterest. For any of you that watch process videos on Youtube you have to check out Jen Schow's channel. This is a layout that she did. I loved it and it was a lot of fun to recreate! It is also my first layout for the 30 day challenge.

I've been making dream catchers with old embroidery hoops, doilies and lace, I may need to whip something up inspired by one for a LO!!

I saw a picture of one on pinterest that had a doily in the center! I really might try that, but I'll have to buy a doily--I don't crochet!jrrah4903 wrote:I've been making dream catchers with old embroidery hoops, doilies and lace, I may need to whip something up inspired by one for a LO!!

I did this based on your example: here is my reasoning - dream catchers are native objects = natives appreciate and revere nature so i made this page about a quiet place for reflection, to enjoy nature and beauty. Also submitted for today's 30 in 30.
And i just realized the tree rings match the style of it!

Thanks for entering! If you need help getting a photo here, try these steps. Open two windows, one to your gallery entry, and the other to this thread (or any you want to put a photo in). Right click on your gallery photo, choose "copy URL" then go to the challenge thread, reply, they look above the text box to find the little box with a picture of mountains and a sun. Click it and paste your URL there. Hit "OK" then submit!

Here's mine! The these snowflakes (paper and the die cuts) reminded me of the dreamcatcher, with the shape and the pinks and blues. I combined with the 3 in a row challenge. Thanks for the great prompt!
Happy Scrapping!
