For this Challenge I chose Earth Day April 22. I would like you to include somethng from nature, It can be in your photo for the layout
or on the layout itself. Also I would like you to find something and up cycle it or recycle it however you interpret the term. For my layout I have flowered pp and I found these washers
in my husbands toolbox and used them (hope he doesn't need them) I used the new Echo Park Sunny Days ahead line. So if you accept the challenge a random winner will be chosen for a $5 ACOT
GC.
- may combine with one other challenge that allows
- please submit to either Gallery posting and the thread. I will check both before choosing the winner.
- open to digi and paper
- have fun

Great idea! Here's mine: Just a page for fun to try something out! For a mask, I used the corrugated paper cover that came in the heart shaped box of chocolates my hubby gave me, and then blew the mist outwards.
For the upcycle- one of my tags is a baggage claim tag from the railway where my hubby used to work.

Here's my entry! Lots of fun! My nature item is the outdoor photo--trees/forested area in background, and for the up-cycle requirement, I used a coffee sleeve to punch out the tab and chevron pieces (kraft color).

Here's my submission, also combining with the April Heritage challenge. I used floral papers & embellishments for my Earth elements (butterflies would count too, I guess
). For my recycle/upcycle items I used part of a handmade doily from my Grandmother's side of the family and the pearls down the center of the butterfly are from a stickpin that belonged to her. Picture is of my Grandmother in the early 1930's. Thanks for posting this challenge, I had a lot of fun with it!

Here is mine. Nature photos of baby Twinkie enjoying the outdoors. Also some leaf/branch trim from a Doodlebug Fancy Frills sheet. For the recycle/upcycle I punched all of the green doggie bones from a Prima Alphabets Go Green package. Prima said "please help the environment by reusing this packaging", so I punched dog bones out of it! I also used the identification strips that I cut off the tops of the 12 x 12 TCP Studio papers… I used the opposite side and pasted them behind the die cut part of the scallop for the dark brown to show through. They didn't end up in the garbage pail! Thanks for the fun challenge!
I combined this with the What's on TV challenge.

Here is my layout for the challenge. My recycle item is the largest tag in the tag cluster. It is a tag off a bathing suit I had bought.

here's one from me - the "paper" behind the film strip is actually packaging from embellishments
I also used this for the on tv challenge

I combined this with the Manufacturer challenge. The water is from nature and I used some bottle caps on the right side of my Lo.

Here is mine but when I reread the rules I realized I forgot an upcycled item. Oops! Oh well. I'll just count it as another page done instead of a challenge submission. Here it is anyway, I chose flowers as my nature item.
Thanks for the challenge even though I forgot the second part of the rules.
