First of all, thanks to everyone for being so patient with me - I know this is a little late! When the board went down I had no way of knowing who had entered because I didn't create a gallery for the challenge entries so I needed the forum (lesson learned for next time!)
So, without further delay, the winner is ….. HANNAH W.
Congratulations Hannah, look for your $5 ACOT gift card in your inbox
------------------------------------------
With all the excitement surrounding National Scrapbook Day I figured I'd post this once the festivities began to die down. You'll have until June 5th to complete it. Please upload your entries to this thread.
MOOD BOARD - A type of collage that may consist of images, text and samples of objects. Designers often use mood boards to convey their design concepts and to communicate a vision to other members of a team.
A quick refresher of the rules …
- Each month I'll post a photo of a mood board & you create a layout or card inspired by the board. Easy peasy.
- You can pull your inspiration from anything on the board … the colors, a quote, a photo, shapes, design elements
- Because this is such a general challenge & there are many ways to interpret it, you cannot combine with any other ACOT challenge (sorry!) … You can, however, create as many mood board inspired projects as you wish. Multiple entries are allowed.
** Please be sure to explain which part(s) of the board inspired you! **
Here is your mood board for May 2014 ...
There's lots to be inspired by here … honeycombs, squares, ombre, cupcakes & desserts, bicycles and of course the colors - just to name a few! I'm looking forward to seeing everyone's creations. Here's what I came up with ..
I was inspired primarily by the color scheme.
Post your entries below for a chance to win a $5 ACOT gift card. Good luck!
-> Reminder: deadline for this challenge is Thursday, June 5th.

Cool board as usual! The colours and fun images, including the cake plates and treats, reminded me of birthday.
Karrie
My take: Inspired by the light airy, happy feel, the bicycles and the colors! Thanks

This pp looked like the mood board to me. An amazing coincidence.

Gorgeous creations ladies, I love how each are inspired by something different.
Here is mine. I got my inspiration fro several things. The colors, green and pink caught my eye, the monochromatic scheme, which I used paint swatches cut into butterflies, multiple quantities, like the bikes for several butterflies. Great board to choose from.

Here's my entry! I was inspired by the colors in the mood board to use my Elle's Studio Love You More collection, and to use these girly photos of my DDs and my step-granddaughter painting their nails! I also put my photos and blocks of the pp in a grid like the top portion of the mood board. Thanks for the great challenge!
