1. Begin with the Becky Fleck sketch below from May 2007 - from her www.pagemaps.com archives.
2. Use 2  new scrappy trends (a technique or an item or whatever you consider “trendy’ in scrapping right now)
3. 3 new things from your stash
4. 3 old things from your stash

You can use a mix of old and new embellies or  papers or whatever you choose, but please describe the 2 trendy things you did/have  and what 3 old and 3 new things you used. 
However, if you list misting as a new trend, your mist or mask does NOT count as a new item – I want to see 8 different things in your list.

4. Due June 8 (extra week & weekend due to NSD crop allowed) midnight.  Upload to this thread, there is no gallery.  Winner will be randomly chosen for your choice of a $5 ACOT gift certificate, or this Journaling kit containing: 

7 gypsies 35p Grid it kit, 2 bingo cards, loose journal cards of various sizes from Fancy Pants, Teresa Collins, 7 gypsies, My Mind's Eye and K&Company. Mini word sticker sheet, ?? mini alphas, Kaisercraft rubons, Authentique tabs etc, brand ney Mr Huey's "Passport" mist and a roll of washi from My Mind's Eye that I might have ripped a small pc off.

greatthe great example - Love the edge treatment with the mix of tearing and punching

The 2 new scrappy trends that I used are stars and  burlap.

3 new things that I used from my stash are Kaisercraft brown paper, metal gears, and journaling spot from Simple Stories.

3 old things that I used from my stash are washi tape, photo corners, and the alphas.

This is based on the sketch but I changed it up with the circle to work better with my photos.

trends.....misting, cutwork, partial border punched edge on the left, enhancing naked chipboard 'Joy' by inking and then using stickles.

3 old things: Half the Edge Deco Strip, Birthday Flags, Orange Striped Washi Tape.

3 new things: Acrylic Smile Word, Color Shine Black, Thin Arrow Washi Tape.

For my two new techniques I used ink splatters and photo frames. My 3 old products are Bo Bunny papers,Bo bunny brads and the rosetts I am thinking were made by K&Company. 3 new items are Red glitter thickers,wood veneer stars and the date stamp.

I like the mono brown, very masculine, and goes great with your mix of old & new things, thanks for taking part!
