  Ok I will jump on the bandwagon and ** extend the closing date to Sunday March 2 midnight ** 
I will still post the Mar Old is New on March 1, and hopefully all the other NEW challenges will be posted also!

In honour of Valentine’s day I challenge you to scrap about something/someone you LOVE (can be any subject you want as long as you LOVE it!!) with the following twists:

1. Something on your project must be at least 3 years old (a physical something, not the age of the subject) example, my picture is 5 years old & the orange paper used for the banner is 4 years old.
   
2. Use/invent a new colour combo that is not traditional to Valentine’s – only touches of pink, red, white are allowed if you need to use it at all (for example, mine is orange, teal and pewter but the flowered paper has a bit of pink & red on it)
   
3. Include at least 1 sentiment sticker
   
4. Include at least 1 heart

Fine Print:

1. You may submit more than one entry if you are not combining with anything else.
   
2. If you are only submitting one entry you may combine with any other challenge that allows it, just let me know which one.
   
3. Due March 2 midnight. Upload to this thread, there is no gallery. Winner will be randomly chosen for a $5 ACOT gift certificate from me.

wonderful challenge and page - here's mine - I used mainly grey, black, turquoise and some pink (hope there's not too much).  All my hearts are made from very old papers.  The sentiment stickers are on the hearts.  I also used this page for the Shape challenge

Love this challenge! I'm attaching a LO of my son I finished on Sunday. The picture is 19 years ago using very little red and hearts on the circle border punch, the upper right corner and within the journaling block. There is a sentiment embellishment in the upper left hand corner "You make my heart melt." Thanks for the challenge!

This is such a cool page Heather,  I like how you did the trail of hearts rising above the thing you love on top of the arrow looking print paper.

Hi Kristin, so glad you enjoyed my challenge, thanks for taking part!   You LO is adorable, the pic is just so precious, that cute lil face!  Amazing how time flies!! 
Also really like the design, the layers above the doily-cut paper, and the banner pcs.

Here's my entry!  



I used papers from Elle's Studio.  The colors are a light teal, yellow, and gray.  =13pxMy old objects are magic mesh, the gray hearts, and the small acrylic letter ovals. My sentiment sticker (from Sticko) is the "you mean so much to me!" put on top of the washi on the lower right.

I love my daughter(and scrapbooking). The pic. is 28 yrs. old and the sticker is 13 yrs old and is my sentiment sticker. The heart(s) are in the boarder at the bottom of the page. The colors I used are aquas and purples with small amounts of green, white and blue.

Hi and Welcome!  way to use up some OLD stash and get a pic out of the archives scrapped!  Love your green and purple and the bling.  Thanks for taking part! 

For the colors, I relied mostly on greys, blues, and greens with pink as the accent.  Hopefully I didn't use too much pink for this challenge.

- the photo is more than 10 years old
- I didn't rely on the typical red and white for the love theme but used pink and teal (who doesn't LOVE that combination?)
- uses sentiments from a K&C RAK i just received
- added lots of tiny hearts I punched out, adding glossy accents to make them look more like enamel hearts

I am also using this for the Shape challenge (hearts and arrows)

this is just TOO adorable!   LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!

Here is my LO.
My photo is 7 years old and most of my paper is over 5 years old. I used browns, tans and blues as my main colors. I have several sentiment stickers on my LO and 3 hearts.
