What's in fashion for July? Stripes paired with neutrals. A neutral is white, black, any shade of brown, gray and navy.

Here is my example:



I paired the bright stripes with the white background.

So my challenge to you, if you choose to accept it, is to create a project that uses stripes (they can be straight up and down (like mine) or side to side, they can be diagnol stripes and even chevron stripes would count too!) with a neutral background. Your embellies are your choice.

This is open to Paper, Digi, Hybrid, Cards, and Crafts. Please submit your creation to this thread and/or the gallery spot by August 31, 2013, at 11:59 PM EST.

You may combine it with another July Challenge.

I will pick a winner (or if there are more than 20 participants, I'll choose TWO) at random for a $5 GC.

Can we use other patterns as well as long as we include stripes? Or do you see this as primarily stripes?

You can use other patterns as well. You can use as little or as much stripes as you want. But if its just a little bit, and its hard to see the stripes, please point them out.

This was fun! Used up some of my hoarded Scenic Route stash and photos from my step-daughter's college graduation party. I was so skinny then!!
