Happy New Year everyone!
What's new in fashion for January? Winter White in heavy fabrics (heavy cottons, fur, wool, etc). Usually "white" is a summer thing, so this winter, White is being paired with black and gold.
So, for my challenge, I want to see a layout with only white, black, and gold. Now, unlike the color challenge, where you have to use a certain percentage of the colors, here, you can use as little or as much of the white and black and gold. BUT, here are the rules:
1. Your background MUST be solid white.
2. You must use ribbon or some form of fabric (a crocheted embellie, lace, etc.)
Here is my example:
Go ahead and get creative in how you used the black and gold. I used "Black Magic" mist, which is perfect because it has the gold specs in it. And if you have punches/die cutting machines, let them work for you in making your embellies (like my li'l doggie). Nothing is off limits!
Any questions, please ask me.
This challenge is open to everyone - paper, digi, hybrid, cards and crafts. You may combine it with another challenge if you choose to do so. You have until January 31, 2013 at 11:59PM to complete this challenge. I will randomly select a winner for a $5 GC to ACOT.

I'd like to thank everyone who participated in this challenge. Random.org picked Layout #5 out of a total of 14 wonderful layouts.
Congrats to MimaScraps/Lori, a $5 GC to ACOT is on its way!

really nice challenge. Could make one elegant layout withe these colors if only I had some pix that lend themselves to elegance. lol Maybe Jenn will let me scrap one of her NYC at Christmas pix. lol

Charleneanne, you do not have to have elegant photos for this challenge. Any pics would make this color combo an amazing layout.

Brandy, now you've hurt Jeffrey's feelings. He thought he was being an "elegant" dog in that photo. Just sayin. . . .blbabe1234 wrote:Charleneanne wrote:really nice challenge.
