Once upon a time there were two princesses that lived in a faraway land - CherryLand. One princess- Princess Maraschino- was very dutiful to the laws of CherryLand and heeded all warnings given by her subjects as well as the court. The other princess, Princess SourCherry wasn't evil, just more spiteful, always throwing caution to the wind
Chapter II
NOVEMBER in Cherryland brought the big autumn feast celebration for subjects and royalty alike. Both princesses were so very excited to help, and as usual, both went about their own special ways to prepare. Princess SourCherry was thinking of things and way to decorate while Princess Maraschino was racing around gathering every bowl, spice, cooking item and food throughout the castle's kitchen.
Finally the cooking smells were coming from every house in the kingdom, and there were decorations galore. Back at the castle, the kind went down to see how his two daughers were faring. He walked into an amazing decor!! He was speechless, he didn't know what to say!! Princess SourCherry had really gone overboard, especially along the ceiling where everything and then some was hanging. He instead smiled sweetly and moved into where his other daughter was, knowing everything would be fine. It wasn't.
She came out in tears - He said "Maraschino, why are you so upset?" She said "Oh father, look at my nice new white apron! It's a mess!" There were all kinds of spots on the apron from her cooking - but her food looked wonderful.
WHICH PRINCESS ARE YOU???
If you are Princess SourCherry, your layout needs to have a topper (a border along the top of the page) and a banner as well, and decorate it all with stickers, die-cuts, etc. In other words - lots going on at the top of the page
If you are Princess Maraschino - you need to use the all the following colors on your layout. Brown (she spilled turkey gravy on the apron), red (the cranberry sauce) and orange for the sweet potatoes that spritz onto her WHITE apron. So. . your base must be solid white (if it's embossed, it must be white on white). You can spray the colors onto the background, or use paint, whatever - no rules on how you do it, but it must be a white background with brown, red and orange. You may use minimal additional colors.
This will be open until midngiht EST on November 30th. Any medium (digital hybrid, paper) is fine and May be comobined with another challenge. Layouts, cards, altered project - all are acceted in Cherry Land. I will award a $5 prize to the winner pulled at random by my Lady in waiting.
