ACOT Message Board

I have recently been digging through all my piles of scrappy items and I have noticed quite a few cute embellishments that I have not used and thought, I really need to use these...I wonder if you all are the same?? LOL


Anyway, two things you need to do. Find an embellishment you can build a page around. You can use multiples of this item or parts of it, if it is a package---build me a page. Load BOTH items into the gallery, the item you built the page around BEFORE it is on the page and the final product! It can be a new product or an older one and it can be paper or digital.



Make sure to follow the directions, because if not you are not eligible to win. HAVE FUN!!!!

- You may enter one layout or project for this contest.
-Must be new entries
-DATES: May 3rd through May 31st--Winners will be announced June 5th
-You are not eligilble to win if you were the previous month's winner.
-Winners: Winners will be chosen from eligible entries, by the CT Members AND 10 random board members.
-This is not like the challenges, where the winners are drawn
randomly, this will be based on originality, craftsmanship and design.



If there are 30 entries then all of the below prizes will be awarded.
Overall Winner will receive a 25.00 GC to the ACOT store.
Paper runner up will receive a 10.00 GC to the ACOT store
Digital runner up will receive a digital designer prize pack or gc to the designers store.

If there are > or = 20 entries then two prizes will be awarded. The overall and the runner-up. The prize depends on whether the runner up is a paper of digital entry.

If there are > or = 10 entries there will be one winner and that will be the overall layout voted on.

This is a great idea~! I will love trying this!

It will be fun going through my drawers - I am going to try to find something "special" that I have been saving for "special" photos - I know I am guilty of that! Great idea!

I can't begin to imagine how many embellishments I've be "saving" for just the right pics...then I either forget about the embellies or neglect to take those perfectly matching photos. Thanks for the motivation - I'm going to go through my stash tonight.

what a great idae! was just digging through a ton of cute things while working on my NSD challenges and realized I am overloaded with embellies and cannot find what I want when I need them!

I really think the hardest part of this contest is going to be choosing the embellishment!

Cool idea! NOw, what if the embellie goes with a matching line--is it okay to use all of the line> Especially since I tend to hoard the embellies and use them really skimpily on the pages to make them last! LOL

What a fun challenge, and one I could participate in over and over since I have so much "stuff". Sometimes I have even bought two of something not realizing I have it! Will think about this and come back to post!

this sounds fun but I am a bit confused about what it means to build a lo around an embellie... so for example if i pick a prima vine I will go get a pic papers and other stuff that match it and make a lo, is that right?
