This month you need to show me your mad stamping skillz!!! Digi gals, get creative with those brushes!!!


This month since I am so late getting it started there will be one extra winner--chosen by me-- that will receive 250 points! This is an EXTRA winner so the GC's and digi prize will still be the same for the number of entries submitted.



***Please read the rules carefully.... your layout eligibility is determined by adherence to the rules!***
- You may enter one set of layout or project for this contest.
-Must be new entries
-DATES: April 12th through April 30th--Winners will be announced May 5th
-You are not eligilble to win if you were the previous month's winner.
-Winners: Winners will be chosen from eligible entries, by the CT Members AND 10 random board members.
-This is not like the challenges, where the winners are drawn
randomly, this will be based on originality, craftsmanship and design.






If there are 30 entries then all of the below prizes will be awarded.
Overall Winner will receive a 25.00 GC to the ACOT store.
Paper runner up will receive a 10.00 GC to the ACOT store
Digital runner up will receive a digital designer prize pack or gc to the designers store.

If there are > or = 20 entries then two prizes will be awarded. The overall and the runner-up. The prize depends on whether the runner up is a paper of digital entry.

If there are > or = 10 entries there will be one winner and that will be the overall layout voted on.

When I first started scraping in 2004 I was obsessed with stamping which lasted for me until 2006. Regrettably I do very little these days so maybe if I can make myself do this it will be good for me lol

Here is mine. I used a tree stamp. Cut it out, colored it, and added apples. I also used an apple stamp as a border.

I did this one for the challenge but I'm not seeing it in the gallery for the contest. I thought I did it right and I have no idea how to fix it so it will show up in the right place...any ideas?

Beautiful LO! I don't know if this will work, but I would try resubmitting it and make sure you check the box for the April Contest before you submit it. That should get into the right gallery. Maybe you checked the wrong box when you submitted the first time and put it in another gallery. If you did, you should be able to delete it from the wrong gallery before submitting to the correct gallery.

This is a photo of my beautiful Mother taken in 1941. The title I chose is from a song I love called “You Should Have Seen It in Color”. It’s about b/w photos and an old man is telling his story through the photos and he says “you should have seen it in color”. For the stamp challenge, I decided to experiment and was very happy with the results. I have a lot of rubber stamps that I love, so I decided to try scanning the image of the stamps for my LO. For the big stamp (bottom left of page) I put the wooden side of the stamp on the scanner glass and scanned it in gray scale. I then made it transparent a placed the cream color paper behind it. The image of the woman’s face I did the same way, but didn’t do a transparency.
