ACOT Message Board

This month you need to follow a recipe! The recipe is a follows, you can have more of an item, just not less. So if says at least three hearts you need to show three or more to be eligible. HAVE FUN!!!!



Use an animal (can be a picture of an animal, on the paper, an embellishment etc)
Two different alphabets
The color black
stitching (can be rubons, the real thing or digital)
3 or more hearts





There are some changes to the contests, that started last month. First off based on the poll I ran the majority of members wanted the contests to run from the beginning of the month until the end. So beginning today, the contest will run until the end of May. The winners will be announced 5 days after the contest is over, that way it gives time for all the votes to be tallied. Also the prizes will be different based on participation. I have highlighted the changes in red below.

***Please read the rules carefully.... your layout eligibility is determined by adherence to the rules!***
- You may enter one layout for this contest.
- Layouts can be paper or digital
-Must be a new layout
-DATES: May 1st thru May 31st

-Winners will be announced on June 5th
-You are not eligilble to win if you were the previous month's winner.
-Winners: Winners will be chosen from eligible entries, by the CT Members AND 10 random board members.
-This is not like the challenges, where the winners are drawn
randomly,this will be based on originality, craftmanship and design.

If there are 30 entries then all of the below prizes will be awarded.
Overall Winner will receive a 25.00 GC to the ACOT store.
Paper runner up will receive a 10.00 GC to the ACOT store
Digital runner up will receive a digital designer prize pack or gc to the designers store.

If there are > or = 20 entries then two prizes will be awarded. The overall and the runner-up. The prize depends on whether the runner up is a paper of digital entry.

If there are > or = 10 entries there will be one winner and that will be the overall layout voted on.

Bump in case it was missed during the crop!

Hmmm - time to get that LO done of DS and his favorite animal. I think I took like 32 pics of the zoo - same animal and they almost all look the same. (LOL) Now to determine a scrapping approach.


Question - would it be ok to scrap the LO on canvas? I have been wanting to make him a canvas for his bedroom wall of his fave animal. I may not get to it, but just in case - I have all my supplies on hand.

Wow this sounds like a fun challenge. I may just have to give it a try.
