A card for a for a friend I used to go to chirch with until she moved to Colorado after her husband passed.
I agree -- this works really well as a trifold. Great surprise for your sister!trainmom wrote: ↑Wed May 20, 2020 11:28 amI did both options, I used the sketch and I am going to send this card to my sister (I will put it in the mail today).
I changed the sketch into a tri-fold card (I think this sketch really lends itself to that).
I am going to send her some old high school memorabilia of hers that I found last week, she does not know it's coming. I used this very old Simple Stories collection that I bought when my kids were in elementary school, and I have no use for it now.
and I decorated the inside with her graduation year.
combined with the 3-in-a-row challenge.

What a clever card for a geology guy! He will love it!Charleneanne wrote: ↑Fri May 22, 2020 6:19 pmA birthday card for my DGS who will be 12 next week. He is really into geology right now, rocks, fossils, geodes etc. Made it yesterday morning and put into mail yesterday afternoon. Sorry it is sideways. I took pix with my phone and posted from that to here. Not sideways on my phone. Tried to edit but no luck.

This is for my daughter and son in law who will be celebrating their 2nd anniversary Tues. I will hand deliver with their gift. I am doing traditional gifts so this year is cotton. So fun!
I just saw the part about unlimited cards this month. I have been trying to mail lots of little things to my sister who lives alone and my mother-in-law who is also having a hard time with this. I have a photo to send to each of them, I will attempt to make these 2 more cards before the end of the challenge.

Another from me, I will send this to my sister today, with a photo of one of my kids.

It's wonderful to see you and other Cherries using this hobby of ours to reach out and stay in touch during this time. Keep those cards coming!trainmom wrote: ↑Tue May 26, 2020 8:59 amI just saw the part about unlimited cards this month. Another from me, I don't love how it came out, it's too busy, I should have used a smaller teacup and smaller font, but I'll send it anyway.

A couple more cards. Both going out to church members. One, Dr. Ron has cancer. The other for Libby who is alone since her husband passed away.

Here's a second one I did. The pp is from a Vicki Boutin 6x8 paper pad . The stem and butterfly are using Tim Holtz distress ink watercolor technique. The flower was sent to me by a sb friend I met on here 17-18 years ago. She used a new technique from a Gina K video. I love the way it turned out. Made yesterday and mailed today.

I sent this stand-up card to my son for his birthday. He is a program architect for a legal firm, and also a wonderfully talented musician. I combined this with the 3 in a row challenge.
Mary Love is all around you.
Sent this card to a friend's daughter who is graduating high school. Hopefully lots of cards will help to make the event more special.
BONUS: I followed the sketch by using embellishment in the top left corner and mixed media (gilding wax) on the frame, which barely shows up in the photo.

Here's my card. I have already sent it to my nephew and his wife. Her sweet grandfather in one of those who died of Covid in the Soldier's Home in Mass. So sad.
I am running away from my responsibilities,
and it feels good!

I think your coloring is great! And your daughter will love this cute card!average_kim wrote: ↑Fri May 29, 2020 10:23 amHere's a birthday card I made for my daughter using the sketch. I haven't played with my Spectrum Noir markers in so long, and I think I got the sloth a little off... but this got me in the mood for more, lol! Maybe this weekend I can make a few more to have ready!

How nice of you to think of your friend's daughter. High school seniors have had a tough year.jcsmaestra wrote: ↑Sat May 30, 2020 12:36 pmSent this card to a friend's daughter who is graduating high school. Hopefully lots of cards will help to make the event more special.
