I get nervous sometimes too, but a friend told me to break it down in my head----> 4 circles, 3 of something (stars), one rectangle, one long pennant, one narrow strip (which is always ribbon for me), at least two pictures etc! Once I do that it seems to be much easier to complete. I also like to check out what others are doing so I realize there is room to express myself and it doesn't have to be exact. Check out mine later. It's a Christmas theme. That is really different from the samples:)cat1393 wrote:I am going to give this sketch a try. I have to get over the fear of these. That fear being it has to be exact, and I have no clue why.

Here is my interpretation:)

I've got everyone updated and accounted for so far. I'll be out of commission for about a week while I take my son to D.C. A special mom & son trip, and I hope to get LOTS of pictures, of course! Even though I haven't finished scrapping the pics from our trip to D.C. 5 years ago I'll check in on everyone's entries next week!

Don't know why the sketch challenge reminded me of snow forts, but here is a page of the kids trying to build one last winter. I used 2 pcs of double sided to cut my circles, but when I tried to place them, they looked better opposite the sketch. Really liked this sketch though, as I usually have a hard time with circles.
Combo with the Supply challenge. (shapes, graph paper, paint, hand journal, glitter)
have a fantastic time on your trip with your boy! What a nice idea!

Here is a second stab at this challenge. Using different shaped pictures and moving the title around changes up the look a bit.

Here is my version. I used all the circles and even added one (the bling near the title!)

This was a cute layout! I combined w/ the 3 in a row challenge.
Happy Scrapping!

Here's another one from me:
I combined with the 3 in a row challenge. I made the blueberries out of circle punches, starburst punches, and a regular hole punch. I used inks to create the shading and a pen for a little detail.
Thanks,
