Re: JANUARY 2014 SUPPLY CHALLENGE
This is a sketch my father in law included in a package we got yesterday.  It's a reference to Manchester City - and English football team currently top of the division.  I used these items from the supply list:

So I went with these items:
  1. white - used to make my own "patterned paper" by adding stamped and embossed stars
  2. diagonal stripes - used to edge the journal card
  3. arrow - metal arrow clip
  4. something cold - the snowman, of course!
  5. stick pin - used three from an old MME set (I FINALLY used them!  Yeah!)

Re: JANUARY 2014 SUPPLY CHALLENGE
Here's mine -- a birthday card for a friend. I used three blue felt flowers (big one is behind the cameo), a cameo stick pin, a chipboard banner (covered with pink paper and stamped Happy Birthday), a white doily, and a gold ribbon bow.  The cameo stick pin and doily were purchased at a thrift sale for 25 cents a piece!

My daughter loves pink LOL! This was her on Christmas, 2008, the day before she turned 3. Journalling says: Aisling loved wearing her pink Santa dress, sitting in her new Dora chair, and playing with her new Dora umbrella. It's a pink Christmas for sure!

something cold --- house with snow on top on the journal spot
stickles --- outlining big circle and photo corners and in arrow
white -- rickrack
diagonal stripes - washi tape on one corner
arrow --- stitched
Happy Scrapping!
