I had to change it up a little bit to get the words to go the right way.
Perfect! I hope others see this post for an alternate placement for those directional cuts!blbabe1234 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 16, 2025 12:10 pmI followed the video and the cuts, but still couldn't get the paper with the words/icons to match up correctly. So I placed the cuts below - hope that is okay. I did though follow the placement of the photos (and sizes). Matted the one 4x4 photo.

I should've specified that a non-directional pattern would work best. I have seen designers work with papers such as Graphic 45 with patterns/text going in all directions, however, and I thought that a messy thrown-together look might be interesting too. I'm going to edit my OP now.fundays wrote: ↑Thu Mar 13, 2025 10:20 pmThis is so hilarious!!!!!! I have cut and taped and recut my papers!!! NOT working due to the papers not being good going other directions due to writing and picture on one side. So far, can't tell if I am able to salvage it.
Note: I think the papers needed to be geometric or basically having patterns that went in different directions. Not like Graphic 45 pp like I chose. But making it work!!!
Sorry about that... if you wanted to jump in with different papers, it's still an option in step 3.sherelm wrote: ↑Fri Mar 21, 2025 2:43 pmI decided to admire the go to it-ness of my fellow cherries. My paper had two one way directions and the one side was a photo like image on top of it. Plus I picked a cerise color for my cardstock and it wasn't much of a match for a large chunk of the B side. So ... I admire your work and thanks to our hostess for her work.
