Pictures of the Air Force Museum in Washington DC on Christmas night in 2013. From Picture A I chose snowflakes (the blue patterned paper has snowflakes), arrows, there were frames with just a design on them. That reminded me of stencils so I stenciled something that also looked like the 3 “arrows” grouped together at the bottom of the picture. From Picture B I chose the word “thankful” which is in my journaling, the hearts and the arrows. Combined with the Weekly LO Sketch #418.

Layout created for the march grab 5 challenge, combined with the 3-in-a-row challenge, and the 30 prompts challenge.
Grab 5: hearts, the green color, chevrons, stars and woodgrain.
3-in-a-row:
Washi (tape under the label on the right, and the circle with splatters on the left), free (white splatter), mixed alpha title.
30 prompts #16: make a page that makes us smile.
Add some sparkle to your life

"Be the Change You Wish to See in the World"

I was inspired by the overall themes of family and love, heart, metal (I used metal brads), LOVE on the wall and repeated in my tag, OH HOLY NIGHT separated out in 3 lines for the title tag of my page, use of frames

“Whatever you choose to do, leave tracks. That means don’t do it just for yourself. You will want to leave the world a little better for your having lived.” RBG

I pulled from the snowflake, circle (wreath), script words, arrow, heart

This was really challenging. I was so worried about using enough of them that I actually have 6!

combined with the weekly art journal sketch
- Chevrons in photo 1 inspire chevrons in lower left
- stable quote in photo 1 inspires the subject as the quote refers to Jesus and these photos show a historic market dating back to time of Jesus. Given history of where he went, it is highly likely that he walked through this market in the time depicted in the drawing on the wall in the photo (I'm please that I figure this out)
- Wreath around words in photo 1 inspires the decorated circle with the word Israel inside
- Heart in photo 2 inspires the heart in the lower right
- arrow in photo 2 inspires the arrow in the upper left
- Cross (religious symbol) inspires the Jewish star (religious symbol)
