I made this card for my mother who is a card maker. She is currently visiting me and I've already given it to her.

I used papers from the Teen Vibe Carson collection, the same stencil, ink and embossing powder previously used and three embellishments: washi, sequins, and stickers. I'll be giving it to DD to send to her gaming / crafty BFF for her bday this month. This is the same BFF that is in the photo I'm using for the whole progressive challenge, coincidentally LOL! She's the one that did all the costumes in HS for the plays.

Here is mine. I apologize for the lackluster photo....it's dark in my house. lol I printed my digi card and took a photo of it.
Used papers from the same collection as my Step 3: Aimee Harrison's "A Baker's Dozen." Use the stamps from Step 2. Added ribbon (top), flair, and a date stamp.

Here's mine.

Adventure Awaits
I used a creme colored cardstock background (similar to the one I used for the layout). I inked it using the anchor stencil and I also used the anchor stamp on both the cardstock and the envelope. Then I matted the finished cardstock with a piece of blue patterned paper from the same collection I used for the strips on the layout. Finally, I chose 3 sailing themed embellishments to add. I will be sending this card to a crafty friend who is taking her first cruise soon!

I don't want to mail someone a Christmas card in February... I hope I will still be eligible to go on to Step 5?
Lol!! I'm doing a themed "day of the dead" layout!!! Can you see their faces getting one for that?
Actually I'm going to use a paper from the collection like she says, and see if I can tweak it into a birthday card or something else (definitely NOT a sympathy card, either, lol) . Come on, try it, we' ll at the least have a funny card!!
Although, some of us may find a "day of the dead" sympathy card a real riot!

I actually have a sil that loves Halloween and everything that goes with it. Her birthday is 2/10, so I just may send it to her! And she loves margaritas, too
I gave my card to my grandson. He turns 3 tomorrow. My card is on page 1 of this thread.
Just call me Nan - it's short and sweet

Put my card in the mailbox today. Sending it to a friend who is going thru a hard time.
I posted my card earlier in this thread on Feb 2nd

Late but done. I made this for my sister in law who also crafts and also teaches kindergarten. I don't make cards a lot and I do not love this but I already put it in the mailbox for a little surprise at work. I wrote the sentiment with pen and dotted the letters as we have a joke as kindergarten teachers that we do this to everything.

Here is my card. The paper is from Vicki Boutin's Print Shop collection, which is the same collection that the paper strips I used for the layout came from. Since my stamp set was all Christmas, and I didn't want to do a Christmas card, I had to get creative. I used part of the stamp that said "There's no place like home for the Pawlidays" and just used the "There's no place like home" part of it. I also used the same paw print stencil and the same two Distress Oxide ink colors, Black Soot and Hickory Smoke. The 3 embellishments are puffy stickers from a different Vicki Boutin collection. The card is ready to mail and will go out tomorrow.
