I used the first movie poster as my inspiration and used a grid-like placement of different sized & oriented photos along with a center title to work off of

This inspired me to go monochromatic red (more or less) for a Christmas layout.

I chose a movie title - #7 The Mighty.  These are pictures of SOME of the trees we cut down when we were building the house.  These are red cedar trees that we had sawn by a local sawmill.  The owner took half of the lumber in exchange for cash which was a win-win for everyone!  Red cedars are quite prolific here in Southeast Alaska.

I took inspiration from the movie poster In the Loop.  In the word Loop, the letters overlap forming loops.  If you look closely at my title, the letters also overlap having a similar look to them.

I was inspired by the movie poster for Down the shore:


I used the layout of the pictures - using 2 portrait and 2 landscape orientations of varied sizes. I placed the title in the center and had my journaling to the right of it.
