I trimmed the dot pattern paper so the green cardstock creates a frame. I trimmed down the orange scrap, then used the light blue scrap as is. I inked my edges
Louise, after we cut, punch, tear or whatever to the scraps, are we to adhere them also? And, can they cover part of the border or have to be specifically on the other paper? For instance, when I adhere what I cut, is it okay to add them around the border paper where it meets the other paper? I hope I explained this clearly...
This is mine:
Here's my step 2. I was a little limited because the paper I chose has a LARGE graphic on it that I was "hoping" would show. We will see what step 3 (and 4, LOL) bring to the table!

Yes, adhere them now. Fine to overlap the border.VickiR wrote: ↑Sun Oct 13, 2024 12:51 pmLouise, after we cut, punch, tear or whatever to the scraps, are we to adhere them also? Here is mine. I used 3 of my scraps, cutting the flowered one down to a strip. I used inking on the edges of my solid paper and one of my scraps, and I used staples.

I used the solid CS for the frame, cut out a circle window and adhered it to the pp using mini brads and photo turns that I dug out of my (old, old, old) stash.
I die cut scraps and layered over the pp and a little around the circle. The bottom rectangle had to be pieced because I didn't have any scraps large enough, so that is going to change my plan for later.

Here is my step 2. Some of my scraps had word art and cut aparts and I used some of them. I die cut one of them with a banner die. I also used two doggie bone paper clips to clip some of my pieces together.
Step 2I hope ended up using the stripes side of the orange paper. My scraps are laid out to be a photo mat. This is fun!

Here is my step 2. I inked the edges using a pen, I did it in the spirit of inked edges. I hope that is okay. I have been liking the penned edges better than the inked edges lately. Thanks for the fun but scary challenge.

Here's my step two. I used the cut apart without the phrase (Fries Before Guys) and will add that whenever the title portion of the show comes on Also, it's much more vibrant in person - I don't know what happened with the photo / light.
Happy Scrapping!

I cut down the green and let the white paper be the border
I cut down several scraps and layered them in the center of the wreath and since you mentioned that it would be ok to fussy cut and a banner etc- I fussy cut some of the scraps to get the words out of one scrap and few birds I was able to salvage from others.
I wasn't sure if these should go on at this step or not, and it's 10:30 CST- I know it was probably too late to send a massage. I also inked most of my edges with pink

I know I missed the deadline so this doesn't count for this step but I want to continue with the challenge because it's so fun!
