Hi Cherries!!
Thank you all for showing interest in this challenge. I have enjoyed every one of your submissions, they are all lovely!! Well the winner for this bi-month is Emmapaige's 2nd submission, picked by random.org. Congratulations Chris, I will get your gc on the way!!!
Thanks again for all the participation
Since I have not hosted a challenge in such a long long time, I am going to take this a little slow and do this bi-monthly.
So I am calling this MINI Layout, as I would like you to create something smaller than layouts typically are. (NO 12 x 12, 8 1/2 x 11)
Anyways... this challenge is for those moments that you really have no photos to document, however, you want to remember. For me they are reminders of what is happening now, what I am learning on this journey of life. I have some centered around my WORD of the YEAR, and what I have learned about that word, and how it applies to my life. I make little memory card rings, and little books, that are encouragement and reminders (and hopefully others if they see them). They are reminders of hope, and of God's faithfulness in my every day life. Life is hard. So this is the way I have found to document these things, quotes that mean something to me, poems, LOTS of song lyrics....
You do you... here are some of my examples:
Traveler's notebook - sort of - it was a planner ...not anymore....
So this is a little of me.
YOU do YOU-- you do not have to follow any of my themes. This is documenting life moments too, just a different format.
I want to see small format. no 12x12 or 81/2 x 11
Travelers notebooks accepted ( I know some of you talented ladies use photos in your travelers notebook and that is fine).
Cards will be accepted.
A winner will be chosen randomly to receive a $5 gc to ACOT.
I don't know if this will be a challenge that will appeal to any of you, but I am throwing it out there anyway!
Have fun!

Wow, your projects are all amazing and so inspiring, Sue. I love this idea and hope to play along. I actually have a 6 x 6 album started and am always ready to use notebook rings. I just got a new planner type binder that I want to alter, so this is a perfect challenge to get me started. TY!
Sue! Your projects are SUPER inspiring, and I think that THIS challenge is a WONDERFUL idea! I look at little fun things like this online all the time and yet,I haven't worked on anything small in forever! THIS really appeals to me and I have a million ideas in mind already!!! I ALSO like the idea of having a place to jot down qoutes and started a book a while back but stopped because I wanted something different somehow and was stuck! I'm in!
Those are BEAUTIFUL examples! I can’t wait to try this unique challenge.
Susan this is an amazing challenge! Your examples are gorgeous! I have always wanted to do something about my favorite things and cool labels and things that I have collected and just overall miscellany and doodling. This may get me to actually do it!
That is absolutely beautiful, Sue!! Every page is full of supportive, positive affirmations!
I just watched a tutorial yesterday about making a mini book and I want to do it!!! Thanks for
the 2 months for this challenge as I want to finish 50 LO's this month!!!

Would you consider 8x8 for this?? Fitting some of these in my Ireland album to fit brochures etc.

Beautiful...and I'm in since I cancelled my mini album challenge a couple months ago for personal reasons. This will be perfect for my recipe album I'm trying to get done so I can use it in my kitchen! Thanks for the challenge
Stacy
Thank you for including cards, too! I don't seem to be able to finish any big projects these days. Small fits my energy and interest levels. This is perfect.
You have done some gorgeous work on these examples! I love the quote element too - you know I am all about words. I'm glad you are including cards in this challenge. All of my albums (so far) are 12x12 or 8x11. I'd like to start some smaller projects but need to do some planning on that. I love making cards with quotes on them though!
Happy Scrapping!

this is perfect for my garden journal. how many entries are allowed?
Louise
I have a sketch book I have been meaning to art journal in. And last week at church I heard something that made me think I should scrap this, but I don't scrap without photos usually. So this is the absolute perfect challenge.
Cool challenge! I have some small books that I keep, mostly for playing with ink, alcohol ink, die cuts, etc. Will give this a try!
I am running away from my responsibilities,
and it feels good!

Thanks for the challenge, here's an entry from me! This is 6x8 format for a recipe/scrapbook album. On the left are two 4x6 cards that will go in pockets, the right side is a 6x8 layout. Combining with the June Pick a Day challenge, also.
Stacy
super cute! That looks so refreshing!!
