oops I had this ready Tuesday when I posted the Nov card challenge but somehow just neglected to post it. Sorry
So for the washi challenge we are going to do shapes. On my example I used circles and triangles. Other choices could be squares, ovals, rectangles, snowflakes, hexagons, etc. Some of you brave and talented folks can just cut them directly from the washi tape (like my funny shaped triangles) or like my circles, you just put tape on paper and use a punch or die.
I want to see something framed or outlined in washi tape shapes.
MUST HAVES
at least one shape has to be in two or more sizes
something on your card or layout must be framed or outlined in the washi shapes
You get a bonus entry for using two or more washi shapes
Due December 31 by 11:59pm
2 entries max per person
open to layouts and cards (or picture frames or journal covers)
must be new work
post here and in the gallery

Oh my gosh...how cute!! Great challenge - I really need to dig out my washi and participate.
Such an incredibly creative challenge. I can't wait to figure this one out!
Since Mildred is back she is going to take back over the washi challenge. I was just filling in for her. And since this is such a busy time of the year, just going to extend the deadline from end of November to end of December. Thanks for playing along all the months I did the challenge. I enjoyed doing it (but relieved to be down to one challenge again. lol)

Here's mine using 3 different sizes of hexagons covered in 3 different washi tapes and they are framing my photos.

For this challenge, I put washy tape on card stock and then punched it out and just circles to frame my photo.

I am so happy to be back and able to finally do one of your Washi challenges. Here's mine - I used both hearts and circles for the bonus. The circles is what I choose to do 2 sizes of. The little ones are on top of the big ones which underline my bottom photo.
Mildred - Mom to 2 girls and a husband (I tell people that I am a single mom of 3. Ages 59, 37 and 31) lol. And a proud Grandma to Orahn (7) Sawyer (5) and Mazie (3).
Gorgeous layout. Love the washi patterns. and the colors are perfect.mgehrke wrote:I am so happy to be back and able to finally do one of your Washi challenges.
