Thanks so much. I like that the challenges here are a little more relaxed and not too much rule based. It should be fun and it is here.cherrycupcake wrote:Are you happy with your page when it's done? Then dear, do it ANY WAY you want!!! I just said on the other challenge I host that if you do a page even similar to what I am asking for - it's fine. My number one goal is that you are happy with your finished page, and NOPE - no disqualifications if you "cheat" a little. Okie dokey?mel79 wrote:Wonderful story.
Just a question, with Princess Maraschino can we use papers that have brown, red and orange in it or does the background have to be that colour e.g. misting?
Im leaning more to Princess Maraschino if its paper.
This story is so cute! I really want to participate in this challenge, but when I try to upload a picture of my layout it's gigantic! Does anyone know how to resize the picture for this forum? Or could I just link the layout I made to my blog? Thanks for any help!
Oh, I figured it out! So, here's my submission for the Princess Maraschino option. I painted onto a white cardstock background using brown/orange/red/yellow watercolors:

Great layout! You're making me consider buying some acrylic paints for my next scrappy purchase!
OMGosh, just love the leaves, the different textures the paint brush strokes - so much to look at and yet you don't lose the photos because you matted them making the center of your attention!! VERY well done. Love each aspect of it.aceason wrote:I am a Princess Maraschino so I painted the colors on my background...
My son is a brown belt in Tae Kwon Do (college got in the way) but I'll share this with him! I love the date, the papers, and the silhouettes along the border. OK honestly? I'm going to scraplift it.scrap happy wrote:Princess Sour Cherry
