EXAMPLE:
Although I have no personal love for Avril Lavigne's music, I really liked the feel of her album cover “The Best Damn Thing” with the layout and use of white space and the title doodle.

I've been "WHAT to do with all those fish and animal photos" from the Aquarium - I have a lot of "what to do with multi little photos" - and when I saw Michael Jackson's "This is It" album I thought - I could do that! After all the times I've seen it, I never connected it to scrapbooking. Thanks for the nudge! The album cover....
And my take on it. . . .

I was thinking how difficult this challenge would be for me because I don't buy that kind of stuff anymore, but then I had a DUH moment. Just pick an artist I am fond of and look on the internet. lol old(er) you know - often takes me a bit longer. Good idea though.

I am making a CD album for my friend to celebrate her first grandchild. I was inspired by your challenge to make a page based off of Billy Idol Vital Idol cover. I love the way the title is in big bold letters and stands out against the background so vividly. (Charlenanne, thanks for the reminder about finding covers online...and I'm only 41 lol)

You made me giggle. Love you, Charlene.

I chose Toby Keith's "Unleashed" album cover. I liked the fact that it was an outdoor scene, with a dog house. This pattern paper from Best Creation is PERFECT as it has an outdoor scene with a dog house. I personalized it by placing a blank wooden sign sticker where a name would be, and added Jeffrey James to it. I then added doggie items to the mix and misted Pink Paislee wooden letters to make them look similar to steel (like the chain fence on the cd album). And of course, I chose a photo of Jeffrey rolling around in the grass, to help go with the title - "Unleashed".
