Quote of the Day - 1/09/11

Yesterday I left a quote about snow because it is in the forecast. I'm now watching the next round of rain coming in from the southwest. We have been so dry since August. Total rain via radar estimate is 5 inches. When I went to bed we had rainfall amounts estimated from radar at 1.5 inches per hour. I thought I'll wake to the river just over the fence. Sure enough, the front pasture pond is full, flowing over the spillway. I do love the liquid sunshine! So I'm leaving this rain quote and if it starts to snow I'll update. 
Anyone who says sunshine brings happiness has never danced in the rain.
