Need a subject for taking a photo. This is a great one. I store my lights on paper towel rolls. And they still snarl, but not as badly.

I wish I had thought about paper towel rolls when I was storing lights. Great idea. Now I just use a pre-lit tree, and they never snarl!

Even more of a gaurantee, they wont work this year no matter how well they were working last year. At least at our house. And I always put them away so neatly too!

I am not looking forward to storing the lights this year. For the past 15 years we had a prelight tree so we didn't have to worry about them getting snarled. Well the girls wanted a "Real" tree this year so I went ahead and bought them one. Not thinking I also had to buy a tree stand and you got it......lights. I really like the tree, and it makes the house smell like Christmand. But now after reading this quote........the lights are going to be a pain......I can feel it now.
