"Baby, It's Cold Outside"

Time for me to do a little holiday pot stirring.
A radio station here in Cleveland has removed all versions of the song "Baby, It's Cold Outside" from its Christmas rotation. Desiray, one of the DJ's had concerns "about the song’s predatory undertones amid the “Me Too” movement." A local news station reports that the station received "a call from a listener". Wow. That one listener sure seems to have a lot of power.
I support the "Me Too" movement. I also believe that things are being taken a little too far, including this decision, in the name of the "Me Too" movement. If every radio station eliminated every song that had "predatory undertones" or "flirtatious" banter, there definitely wouldn't be much left to listen to.
I've been listening to this song as long as I can remember. My favorite version is Barry Manilow with KT Oslin. I have never, as a teen, young adult, older adult, wife, daughter, and mother, viewed this song as predatory. What guy doesn't try to get his girl to stay longer? What girl doesn't try to get her guy to stay longer? This seems pretty absurd to me.
The radio station had a poll up asking if they made the right decision. I believe it was at 88% for the "NO" vote before the station pulled the poll. (Gee, I wonder why.) Even with those results though, they stand by their decision.
I guess this really bothers me at the moment because this same radio station is running a contest to see The Rolling Stones. If "Baby, It's Cold Outside" is offensive, how are "Brown Sugar", "Some Girls", "She's So Cold", and of course the obvious "Under My Thumb" NOT OFFENSIVE in the face of "Me Too". Yet, all of these songs will still be heard on air after the holiday music stops. Things that make you go hmmmm.
I say you do all or nothing. You can't pick and choose.
Here are the lyrics to the song, for those not familiar.
"Baby, It's Cold Outside"
I really can't stay - Baby it's cold outside
I've got to go away - Baby it's cold outside
This evening has been - Been hoping that you'd drop in
So very nice - I'll hold your hands, they're just like ice
My mother will start to worry - Beautiful, what's your hurry?
Father will be pacing the floor - Listen to the fireplace roar
So really I'd better scurry - Beautiful, please don't hurry
Maybe just a half a drink more - Put some records on while I pour
The neighbors might think - Baby, it's bad out there
Say, what's in this drink? - No cabs to be had out there
I wish I knew how - Your eyes are like starlight now
To break this spell - I'll take your hat, your hair looks swell
I ought to say no, no, no - Mind if I move in closer?
At least I'm gonna say that I tried - What's the sense in hurting my pride?
I really can't stay - Baby don't hold out
Ah, but it's cold outside
I've got to get home - Oh, baby, you'll freeze out there
Say, lend me your coat - It's up to your knees out there
You've really been grand - Thrill when you touch my hand
Why don't you see - How can you do this thing to me?
There's bound to be talk tomorrow - Think of my life long sorrow
At least there will be plenty implied - If you caught pneumonia and died
I really can't stay - Get over that hold out
Ah, but it's cold outside
Oh, baby, it's cold outside
Oh, baby, it's cold outside
Thoughts?
