 I wondered the same thing when I read that this morning. And is there no dad at all?

 If I were her...I'd go into seclusion too!

It would be great if she would adopt out some of these children.  I mean...to couples who would desperately want a baby and can not have any.

 That is crazy!  Why would her parents want to aid her in this choice?

 Glad I wasn't the only one who thought it was a little weird to use fertility drugs when she already has 6 kids... who range in age from 7 to 2 years old!?!? 

 uh...i'm speechless. 8 at once?!  8....not one...not 2....8.  Yup...i'd go in seclusion too...i'd be sitting on icepacks for MONTHS...wouldn't want that in the paper...heck, it's prolly draggin the ground..!!8!!!

 Seclusion!?  She should be escaping out of the country!  She doesnt even have money to pay for these babies!  That is totally not fair to these children.

 I'd like to know more about the doctor who did it.

 Its definitly not the norm, but I dont think the media needs to crucify her with out more facts. I think the media distorts way too much anyway...Why is it that the media sets the standards for what is the norm?  Even though its questionable, I think its between them and the docs on the whys of everything. I say let her live in peace! the media isnt going to give a darn a 2 years from now anyways- neither will the rest of the public.

 Holy crap! That's a lot of babies at once. I hope she is capable of caring for all of them.

 It just seems odd on so many levels.  My guess is that the family has money...but it seems like a huge risk to yourself and the babies to implant that many (if that is what they did). 

But, again, I'd like to know more about the whys and the means she has of supporting these children.  I'm upset if she is doing this with government aid.  Otherwise - more power to her I guess.

Gramps is going to Iraq to work so he can support his daughters many blessings...because she is broke. I feel for her parents. I have a feeling they will be the ones taking on the responsibility.
I am willing to bet she is getting gov assistance. I am sorry, but they should not have done this. If she wanted more kids, she should have done it without the aid of a doctor....she obviously does not have fertility issues.

 I simply can't understand why a fertility clinic would take her as a patient if she already has six children and no means of supporting them.  They were totally irresponsible and should have their licence reviewed.

 Maybe she watched The Duggars show on tv and wanted to be like them.......

Even though the grandmother is saying that she had implanted embryos, it seems more likely that she got fertility drugs on the black market.  The drugs can't be that hard to get since puppy mill dog breeders get them and give them to the dogs.

This entire story is just bizarre! 
At least it sounds like she has good family support from her parents to take care of all those children.
