do any of you feel the USA should have boycotted the games especially if that is how you felt before the games began? And who is looking forward to the Winter Olympics in Canada?

Me too.....I miss them already. 110 medals, is a terrific accomplishment for our athletes!

 I'm so glad Canada didn't boycott the Olympics, it's not fair on the athletics.  I have been accetped as a volunteer for 2010 Olympics in Vancouver. I was a volunteer for 1988 Olympics here in Calgary. It was an experience I will never forget.

 I agree with Jamie. . . the Olympics is no place for politics.  It's about sports and the athletes who have trained for this chance in a lifetime.  I usually don't get too much into the summer olympics, there a couple sports I like, but that's it.  Now the winter olympics I love to watch.  I like just about all the sports.

I love the Olympics, and I agree it's no place for politics and I would have been strongly against a boycott.  I can't wait for the winter Olympics, love the figure skating.  That would be so cool to be a volunteer, lucky you!  We almost went to the Atlanta games but ran into some last minute complications.
