Should animals be used for scientific research? It is considered inhumane when testing cosmetics, etc by some...what about for medical purposes? Do you think this is ok?

No, I don't think they should. Although similar, animal systems are just not the same.If you really want to know how I feel about medical research PM me.
Well I believe humans are the ruling species and would much rather use baby rats and monkeys to test things out then my own babies!
I don't like that animals are used in research. But, just incase you all use the Bath and Body works stuff, if you read their label--it says that their FINISHED product is not tested on animals. That would make one think that the ingredients used in it ARE tested on animals. I have a feeling that they are.
I don't like the idea at all, but I admit I would rather things that need to be tested be tested on animals and not people.

I contend we are both atheists; I just believe in one fewer god than you do.
