But, what would you have us do about it? should we step in and police
all the hurt that is going on in the world? start more wars? guess
what, that is going to take even more of our money! I'm not saying that
we shouldnt do something about Darfur and Rwanda, but it seems
unrealistic to me to say that you dont want taxes to go up for the
wealthy, and I assume that you dont want taxes to go up for the middle
class, but you want to start more wars? wars cost money - lots of it!
Let me make it very clear while you continue this discussion - I am not for war on any soil. I did not imply that was what I wanted. I said that America has turned a blind eye to those countries and we have. We manufactured a war in one country while millions are dying in another.
I also never said I didn't want the so-called wealthiest taxed. What I said was that no class of people should be stigmatized based on their income. Without these executives and their companies we will all fail. I kind of like knowing that there are people like Bill Gates out there starting new ventures.
I also never said that I didn't think the wealth should be spread around. I'm a firm believer in socialized medicine. My dd is a Type 1 diabetic who gets better care in Australia than she ever did in America. But I do NOT believe that castigating the so-called wealthy in order to achieve this balance is the way to go.
I agree with McCain - OBama will say and do anything to win this election and a man who has such low morals, who keeps with the company that this man does and has in the past, who espouses the beliefs that he does and has in the past, who refuses to be vetted and the media will not vet for whatever reasons unknown to us, is not the man I trust or want in leadership of this once great nation.
I am a Democrat - Obama is not my candidate. I don't trust him. Period.
They have done this to Bush but no one says anything about that."He is just ruining our country" Bush doesn't deserve all the crap he gets but people still crap on him.Judes wrote:

I think Biden was just asking Obama supporters to keep the faith because he WILL be tested and his haters will try to undermine and pull him down just as soon as he gets into office.

Bush deserves to be brought down. Obama hasn't done anything yet.
