A Cherry on Top
Here, the school nurse can only give meds ordered by a doctor...and then they have to have a ton of paperwork filled out. Em has had a horrible cold and is in the middle of exams. I had to take her more cold meds so she could get through the second half of the day. She is not allowed to have them on her....period. Doesn't matter that they are over the counter. Then she had to take them in front of me. If I wasn't a school employee she would have had to take them in front of me and another employee. If she had taken them from home and been caught with them or taking them she would have been suspended for the rest of the school year.
