I think this link is one of the most interesting I've seen if you really want to understand just what is happening in our country when it comes to jobs. Hit play and I know your mouth will drop open. Least amount of unemployment as of this year is in the Heartland.....or the largest area where food is produced in this country. Seems agriculture from the standpoint of grain and livestock producers have a safe job right now. My county and the one next to me looks like an island of deep red in a sea of purple, but it is due to the oilfield work. It's interesting to go back through a second time and those areas already having big problems don't change right at first but when it does hit them it is straight downward and they don't even briefly come back up.

Wow! That was really interesting. Crazy how the West & East Coast is smothered in purple and gray.

Wow! That's a very powerful visual.

Wow...very powerful visual. My county (and much of my state) starts in purple and never leaves, and in fact turns dark green! I am so blessed to be in a relatively recession proof profession, at least with the seniority I have!
