We have a young couple in our church from Sri Lanka with two little girls, aged 6 and 6months. Yesterday, the husband was rushed to the hospital. It turned out he had had a spontaneous inter-cranial bleed. He is in ICU and currently on life support until they can organize organ donation, at which time he will be officially declared dead. The man is only in his late 30s and was the main bread winner for the family.Fortunately, the wife's mother is visiting right now from Sri Lanka, and her sister lives here as well, and is married to a Bermudian. Please pray for the family through this horrible time of just waiting for your husband to be officially be declared dead. Athena, the 6yro, is close friends with my son, as well, so I know that this is going to affect many people greatly. There is also the issue of work permits, etc., as they are foreign workers. EDITED: He was pronounced this afternoon.
Soooo very sad... thoughts and prayers to that poor family!

Too too sad. I'm so sorry.
However, I am glad that even in this difficult time they can think of organ donation.
I hope that this will give the wife comfort in time (It did for me when my husband died) It is such a precious gift.
