mostly because I believe that God listens to me when I need him to and there are those who need more prayers than I do but I'd like to ask for your prayers, thoughts, good wishes to be sent out.My hubby is having back surgery tomorrow morning. He has had a bad year health wise from breakign his back in Jan. 07 to being in and out of the ER this fall (6 times in 7 weeks) for a variety of things, including chest pains which wound up being caused by quite a few ulcers and an esophugus (sp?) ailment. We're fortunate that so far nothing has been life threatening and easily controlled with medication. But I'm nervous b/c when he broke his back last year he didn't react well to the pain meds and had to be rushed to the CCU and tubed (just in case) . . . it was really scary for me.So please give us what you've got that he comes out of surgery fine, that he heals quickly, is able to do more after the surgery/recovery period and maybe then some of his depression will go away. This past year (actually the past 3) have really changed him and I worry about that . . .he's too young to be soooo old! Many thanks ladies!Margie
Coming your way. I hope everything goes well. Keep us posted.

Thank you ladies! He came out of the surgery with flying colors! He will come home tomorrow and will be limited to either lying down or walking for the next few weeks - no sitting up except to eat b/c if he sits for too long he will find it painful until he heals.I forgot to mention, well actually I just remembered that today is our 8th Wedding Anniversary. We'll have to celebrate some other time.Once again, thank you for your thoughts and prayers!Margie
I hope the healing process is quick & as pain free as possible.Happy belated anniversary!

Glad to hear that it went well!! Speedy recovery prayers coming your way (((((HUGS)))))
