What type does everyone have or what type would you like to have? What is its name? I'm just wondering, I want a puppy but can't make up my mind on what I like. I really love a french bulldog butthey are alot of money and don't stay to small. Other than that I like a boston terrier and I saw a dog called a chorkie (chiuahuah( sp) and yorkie. Cute as can be.

I have an English Springer Spaniel.... His AKC name is Over-n-Under Hunter.... Hunter for short...He was named after the over/under shot gun... The ex thought it was perfect since Hunter was going to be the flushing bird dog.... NOT!  He turned into my baby.....  He is 14 now and starting to really show his age.  When he passes, BF and I are thinking about getting a Boxer...

I have a Bichon/Shih Tzu puppy named Koda Bear after the baby bear in Disney's Brother Bear (my girls named him). He's ADORABLE!!! And the perfect size. I also have a Maltipoo named Hayden. Hayden was a puppy mill rescue and is 11-13 years old. We've had him for almost 2 years. We had big dogs before and decided we wanted to try small dogs and it's really worked out so much better for us and our lifestyle.I can post pictures of the boys in the gallery if you'd like.Wunnea

Yeah I just don't like big dogs, they are to bulky for me and i'm not really one for alot of hair. I had a jack russel/chihuahuah mixed and he was the perfect dog. I had to give him away (step father didn't like him). His name was buzz From toy story, son named him

Oh wow! I have a Bichon/Shih Tzu. I didn't realize they were called TeddyBears... How funny that we named ours Bear. He really looked like a little bear cub when we got him. And I totally agree, no shedding (my husband is sensitive to certain dog hair), AWESOME with kids ( I have 4 ranging from 9 years to 17 months) and they definitely LOVE to cuddle. Bear is such a cuddle bug. He will come and just put his nose in your hand and wait for you to pet him or pick him up to love on.

We adopted 2 beagle mixes)brother and sister), one looks just like a typical beagle and the other looks like what ever the mix is. They were rescued from the side of a highway. THey are named Beau and Daisy after the Dukes of Hazzard hubby was a big fan. LOL!

We have a German Shepherd/lab cross - at least that is what we think he is.  His name is Samson, and he looks like a black and tan shepherd with lab ears and lab personality.  He is and always has been so good with kids.  Too bad he is big so most are scared of him.  We got him hoping he would be a watchdog and let us know when someone drives into the yard.  He watches for people to pet him.  He especially loves the UPS drivers. We like mutts too, but I also like Newfoundlands, Great Danes, Australian shepherds, and border collies.  They all seem to have great personalities.ETA: Samson's name was Cujo when we got him as an adult.  It just didn't fit so we started calling him Samson which did and he adapted.

We have a Cocker Spaniel named  Daisy. Although it took awhile to finally get her trained(the vet told me that Cockers are one of the hardest dogs to train), she is the sweetest dog you have ever seen.  She is great with the kids and loves to play.  This is her.

We're looking at a Chug (Japanese Chin/Pug mix) right now!  They're only about two weeks old so we have a little time to decide.  We've always had big dogs but I'm leaning towards a small one for some reason.  Will eventually get another larger dog and would love to have a chocolate lab like Northern Brat's!!! OMG! What a beautiful puppy!!

We have a Pointer mix and a Lab mix.  Both are wonderful dogs, but have extremely different personalities.  I would highly suggest researching the breed characteristics.  There are a lot of websites that outline everything for you.
