See.. it was just the threat of impending doom that did it.
I'm contemplating having mine removed for that reason....and a couple others.
That must be it Jess maybe it was telling you it needs a drink

That might mean you are ovulating right now.If it was your right side it could of been your apendix instead!!!
what does it mean if you get that pain and your period starts that day?

Shannon, maybe endimetriosis (probably misspelled) is covering your ovary.
I was previously told I MAY have PCOS but I will have to look into endimetriosis as well.

Let's put it this way:I had my cervical biopsy last month on the 16th.Had to wear a pad up until I took my last BC pill from this pack last Sunday, which then started my monthly menses. And they're here with a vengeance.Yep. Pretty much been bleeding since Jan 16th.A lot of good that intravenous iron did, huh? I'm gonna have to have another one to help my anemia again from this crap!My next appointment is the 12th. I'm telling them they WILL be setting up my date to have my stuff taken out OR ELSE.
Ug! You have my sympathies Flap.I was all set and had been all set to have my female plumbing removed a decade or more ago. Then about 3 - 5 years ago I saw a Dateline or 20/20 piece about how 1/3 of the women after a hysterectomy have trouble reaching the big O. Apparently nobody has ever really studied all the nerves down there and just how they connect and work together and just exactly where they are either. Some doctors apparently cut some that do matter. That dimished my rip it out fever quite a bit.
I have that on my right side a lot. BUT I am sorry that you have all this...

It's really something that you would need to discuss with your Ob/Gyn. It could be something different for everyone. It could be a cyst...it could be endometriosis....it could be the PCOS.....you might be suggested to have an ultrasound to see if it's a cyst...for endo they do other stuff.....
I have PCOS. I get those stabbing pains ALL the time. It is an aweful pain. Hope you feel better.
